Hope Ranch Zoo will be holding their monthly event this Saturday June 20th. This months event is called Wild Carnival. There will be games, vendors, and food available. They have also added Kiss a Water Buffalo contest to the event. Participants are Effingham County District 3 Commissioner Jamie DeLoach, City of Guyton Mayor Andy Harville and Hope Ranch Zoo owner Gilvan Valim. The participant who raises the most money will win the honor of kissing the water buffalo. All proceeds from the contest will go towards the animals at Hope Ranch Zoo. Contest will end at 2pm. The event will be from 10am to 4pm. Admission to the zoo $20 per person and kids under 2 are free.
